INGREDIENTS—
Beetroot-1/2 kilo
Sugar-3 cups
Milk-250 ml
Ghee-1/2 cup
Cardamom-8 (powder)
Cashew nuts-8
Almonds-8
PROCEDURE—
Wash beetroots and then grate them. Take a kadai, heat ghee and fry cashew and almonds, and then add cardamom powder and milk. Once milk starts boiling add grated beetroot and stir. Then add sugar and keep stirring till you get halwa consistency or till this mixture condenses. Take a plate and grease it with ghee, pour this mixture and garnish with nuts.
