Shangscoffeecup:

Is Satya Yuga Golden Age?
Amongst the four eras, the Satya Yuga is the first and the most significant one. Knowledge, meditation, and penance hold special importance in this era. All the pillars of religion are present in totality. The average life expectancy of a human being in Satya Yuga is believed to be over 4,000 years. During Satya Yuga, all people engage only in good, sublime deeds...Persons, born in the Satya Yuga, that perform acts of merit, go to the Deva Loka- Devi Bhagavatham.

In the Satya Yuga, all the Varnas  were devoted to the worship of the, the Highest God, but in the Treta Yuga, the observance of religion declined a little and in the Dvapara, it declined very much.  In Kali Yuga people tend to do vicious things and  therefore, they  become vicious.  This is but Yuga Dharma.  It is ordained.

Commendable efforts!  But how I wish you had also given the sources of such statements!!  The Aryan-Dravidian theory has been busted a long time ago, and today we have veered to the point of accepting the Sanskrit word Aryan to mean, a respectable  person, a person of noble birth.  Similarly, there is a controversy, about the origin of Bharatha Varsha getting the name of India or the people of Hindusthan as Hindus, especially when we all know that this ancient "way of life" had no name to begin with.  It is only when other religions like Islam or Christianity started to become popular and began to get followers it was thought fit to name the oldest religion without a name as Hinduism, because it was the most widespread "religion" and had  millions of adherents.

In tamil we say Kannal Kanpathu Poi; Kaadhal Ketpathuvum Poi; Theera Visarithu Arivadhe Mei.  Meaning, whatever you see or hear are not truths.  Only those that are verified by one, after a thorough investigation is TRUTH.
